LineLeap is a nightlife-tech startup with a mission to be the all-in-one customer & business facing nightlife platform.
I was hired as LineLeap’s first designer while they were going through the Y-Combinator start-up incubator. During my almost 4 year tenure, I became the Lead Product designer and oversaw all design at the company, including this project.
Problem
LineLeap’s first event ticketing solution–a scrappy SquareSpace website–became difficult to manage in the face of growing demand for LineLeap-ticketed events.
Manual Management
LineLeap sold event tickets on two separate platforms: a scrappy SquareSpace e-commerce website and a mobile app.
The team had to balance and rebalance ticket quantities manually on two disparate platforms, risking overselling or underselling due to manual quantity management across platforms, and create and upload every ticket type twice.
The team dedicated valuable time and energy to executing each of these events. The opportunity cost was high.

Our business goal was to reduce the risk, manual effort, and time associated with managing ticketed events.
Solution
I independently designed a website, mobile app feature, & internal CMS to manage and sell event tickets efficiently.
LineLeap’s integrated ticketing platform allowed event organizers to sell tickets across LineLeap’s app/website seamlessly and redeem event tickets smoothly.
